Key Responsibilities
1Lead the financial oversight of the UK business, ensuring the P&L and balance sheet accurately reflect performance and support scaling activity.
2Strengthen cost discipline by identifying savings opportunities, reviewing spending priorities, and improving financial efficiency across teams.
3Translate financial insight into clear commercial actions that support profitable growth and brand investment decisions.
4Provide coaching, guidance, and structured development for a junior member of the finance team, helping them elevate reporting capability and confidence.
5Enhance financial control frameworks and governance to support a multi-brand, fast-moving consumer environment.
6Partner with the leadership team on forecasting, scenario planning, and longer-term financial modelling to inform strategic choices.
7Ensure risk management, capital allocation, and resource planning are aligned to the company’s international growth plans.
Requirements
Senior finance leadership experience within an FMCG or consumer goods organisation.
Strong track record overseeing P&L and balance sheet ownership with proven ability to improve cost efficiency and financial clarity.
Adept at working fractionally or in an advisory capacity while remaining embedded enough to drive meaningful change.
Experience coaching or developing junior finance professionals.
Comfortable working in a multi-brand, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent commercial judgement and the ability to influence senior leaders with confidence and credibility.
